It’s been said that “vision gets the dream started.” Thinking about your vision for your life is often the first step toward achieving your dreams and goals, and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are no different.

Through The Arc Pikes Peak Region’s Building for Change Life Skills Resource Center, we will encourage people of all abilities to uncover their vision for their lives and learn the skills needed to make it a reality. This week, we have the pleasure of highlighting The Arc PPR front office staff member Vince, a young man who has no shortage of dreams and goals. Vince is also a Special Olympics athlete who enjoys golfing, running, and moving!

My vision is to live a life that makes me want to jump out of bed in the morning, and set my own goals in life, like success!

Vincent's Dream of setting his own goals, like success

We need your help to achieve our vision of creating an inclusive personal development center for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities!

All proceeds will benefit The Arc PPR’s Building for Change Capital Campaign, and will help people like Vince to realize their life vision by learning job skills, budgeting, nutrition, and many other skills!
