Summer Events Next of KinNext of Kin Support Group – First Monday of the Month, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., The Arc PPR Office

Who: Grandparents and guardians of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

What: Grandparents and guardians of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities come together to share resources and encourage one another. Caring for a person with disabilities is not for the faint of heart; since it takes a village to raise any child, collaboration with other caregivers is essential. Join us as we tackle the challenges and celebrate the triumphs of our loved ones. Light refreshments will be served.

When: The first Monday of the month, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Where: The Arc PPR Office – 12 North Meade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80909

FriendraisersSummer Events Friendraisers

What: All are welcome to party with The Arc PPR and meet new friends in a supported setting. Crafts, games and mini-clubs give participants a meaningful chance to learn more about themselves and others. A DJ inspires dancers to get dolled up at the costume box and show off their moves on the dance floor. With eight Friendraisers this summer, we’re hoping everyone can come out and enjoy the fun! Please RSVP, because the times and location may change.
