Throughout this year’s Indy Give! campaign, we’ve been discussing the importance of vision, as having a vision for your life is often the first step toward achieving your dreams and goals. People with intellectual and developmental disabilities are no different, and also have visions for their lives.

Through The Arc Pikes Peak Region’s Building for Change Life Skills Resource Center, we will encourage people of all abilities to uncover their visions for their lives and learn the skills needed to make them a reality. This week, we invite you to meet The Arc PPR Social Event Attendee, Karleah.

My vision is to play football with the group of women who’ve become like sisters to me; I’m also a freestyle poet artist, and I like to write songs.

Karleah Hall's Vision to Play Football

We need your help to achieve our vision of creating an inclusive personal development center for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities! Today (12/31) is the LAST day to donate to The Arc Pikes Peak Region through Indy Give!. If you haven’t yet had the chance to give, we encourage you to do so here.

All proceeds will benefit The Arc PPR’s Building for Change Capital Campaign, and will help people like Karleah to realize their life vision by learning job skills, budgeting, nutrition, and many other skills!
