Happy Thanksgiving from The Arc Pikes Peak Region! To say that we are grateful for your support throughout our 2018 Indy Give! Campaign is an understatement.
Since kicking off this campaign on November 1, we’ve been blown away by your generosity. The most impressive part of your bigheartedness is the tangible impact it has on the lives of people with disabilities and their families in the Colorado Springs community.
Your kind donations to The Arc Pikes Peak Region through Indy Give! help to create bright futures for students like Serenity, who not only defied doctors’ predictions by learning to walk at the age of seven, but who also attends all of her middle school classes with her peers.
Your attendance at our fun Indy Give! events will help to fund the life skills and other courses that will be offered in our Building for Change Inclusive Campus, an in-construction, 100%-accessible space that offers people of all abilities the resources they need (such as a computer lab, library, teaching kitchen, movement space, and other unique services) to make their dreams and professional goals a reality.
Further, the local community has helped us to raise nearly $1000 to-date, and that is backed by $13,500 in matching grants, so generously provided by local businesses and individuals.
