Colorado Springs is home to many individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. In addition to being an important part of the local community, they also add a critical voice, sharing experiences and perspectives that enrich the lives of others.
One such voice is that of local writer and editor, Tim Thompson. Tim started the Starlight News, a newsletter he started to help provide a voice for people with disabilities, and to help others know how to advocate for them. Tim is the writer and editor of the Starlight News, and he is also a member of the community of individuals with disabilities.
You can enjoy the Starlight News by clicking below. The first edition is complimentary; subscription fees are $1 per month or $10 per year. Ad fees are $5 for small ads and $10 for big ads. Comments and suggestions are always welcome by emailing Tim.
