Our 8th gem is Marijo Rymer. Marijo has served as Executive Director of The Arc of Colorado since 2007.
She previously served in Colorado executive roles at The Mental Health Center of Denver and American Medical Response.
Marijo has more than 25 years of leadership experience in public policy advocacy ranging from healthcare to education to local government.
Marijo Rymer has supported The Arc PPR in many ways, most notably in the legislature where Marijo advocates for the rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Marijo won the The Arc PPR’s Joe Schippacasse “Do the right thing” award in 2009.
