On behalf of World Autism Awareness Day our 6th gem is Arthur Wirth. Arthur is on the Autism Spectrum and is an advocate for individuals with disabilities.
Arthur has been on The Arc Pikes Peak Region’s Board of Directors for 2 years and is an active member of the local self-advocacy group, Include USA.
Arthur works to increase the awareness of the needs of individuals with I/DD and their families. Arthur is very involved in the community and volunteers with a variety of local nonprofits, food banks and churches.
Arthur lives in Colorado Springs with his wife Kat.
