Our 50th gem is Judge Jonathan Walker. Jonathan has been involved with The Arc Pikes Peak Region for many years acting as both a board member and board president. Jonathan helped guide The Arc PPR through multiple transitions and helped make The Arc the agency it is today. Jonathan was a Public Defender for many years and was always very supportive of our advocacy for people with disabilities in the criminal justice system.
Johnathan is currently a Judge in El Paso County. Known as “The People’s Judge” Jonathan is a staunch supporter of University of Michigan Football with the same passion that he support various local community efforts.
Johnathan has been instrumental in helping develop The Arc’s network in county and district court. Jonathan is a steward for The Arc PPR in the greater Colorado Springs community.
