WHAT: Succeeding in School and Life Presents – Music and Rhythm Group. This group lets us express ourselves through music with instruments, singing, and movement. We’ll explore different instruments, learn new and familiar songs, and relax using movement, breathing, and sound. Bring your voice and get ready for fun! WHEN: The First Saturday of every month from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM January 10th February 7th March 7th April 4th May 2nd June 6th June 27th (Moved because of holiday weekend) August 1st September 5th October 3rd November 7th December 5th FOR WHO: Registered participants of the Succeeding in School and Life Program with children preschool-aged through transition age (23). Join The Arc Pikes Peak Region’s Succeeding in School and Life Girls’ Night Out for an evening of nature, friends, and fresh air! Girls ages 13–23 are invited to explore the outdoors together during a nature walk at Fountain Creek Nature Center. This is a great opportunity to get outside, connect with friends, and enjoy a fun and welcoming evening in nature. Light refreshments will be provided. Ben’s story follows his journey from facing adversity and bullying as a child born with Crouzon syndrome to becoming a champion wrestler and advocate for embracing what makes each of us different. Ben will share his powerful message of resilience, determination, and living with purpose , with lessons that extend far beyond the wrestling mat. This special community event is open to wrestlers, coaches, families, and community members . Whether you’re part of the wrestling community or simply looking for an inspiring evening, we invite you to join us! This event is open to all ages , so bring your family and friends, break out your favorite 90s-inspired outfit, and get ready to hit the dance floor! The Get in the Mix Dance kicks off a special weekend for The Arc-PPR and takes place the night before our Get in the Mix: Annual Dinner & Awards Celebration on Saturday, September 26.
