Our 26th gem is Mitch Routen. Mitch is currently on The Arc Pikes Peak Region’s Board of Directors as well as the board for The Arc of Colorado. Mitch is a tireless advocate for not only himself but for all people with disabilities. This is Mitch’s second term on the Board of Directors; in 2010 Mitch won the The Arc’s Burt Fellows award for volunteer service.
Mitch is well known in the greater Colorado Springs area having worked at The Broadmoor World Arena, Safeway, Colorado College and other local establishments. Mitch also coach for the Manitou Springs High School Football Team.
Mitch is a champion of The Arc Pikes Peak Region and our need in the community. Mitch is also vocal advocate for public transportation and has advocated at the local, state and national level.
