Our 24th gem is a pair sisters Jeanie Redding and Betsy Cary. These sisters are both mothers to sons with disabilities. Both sisters have served on The Arc PPR’s board of directors and have also been very involved in the disability community in Colorado Springs, serving on various committees and boards.
Both Betsy and Jeanie have worked to create the best life possible for their sons and are advocates for all people with disabilities.
The sisters were recognized in 2014 with The Arc PPR’s special recognition award for the friendship circle. Jeanie received in Don Haney award in 2005 for community service.
