Amber began working with individuals with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities 5 years ago. Through hard work and determination she became the Group Home Manager of a high medical needs home for a local Colorado Springs agency for close to 2 years.

Amber was overwhelmed with the desire to continue to enhance the lives of those with disabilities and decided to work as a Day Program Coordinator. She truly enjoyed having a chance to help make a difference in the lives of individuals with Intellectual and Development Disabilities.

In 2011, the Lord called upon her to start a new chapter of her life by becoming a Guardianship Specialist for The Arc Pikes Peak Region. Amber feels so blessed to have the opportunity to touch the lives of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and to be able to have that voice that some may not have.
