Our 9th gem is Mary Cremonesi (1914-2009).
Mary was one of the founding members of The Arc Pikes Peak Region along with Peggy Marshall and Don Haney.
Mary served as Executive Director of The Arc PPR and under her leadership developed the guardianship and advocacy programs.
Mary lived in Colorado Springs for 48 years, during this time she taught at Colorado College, was very active in the community and loved classical music and opera.
Mary was active on many boards in the Colorado Springs community, including The Arc Pikes Peak Region.
