Our 55th gem is Rick Levinson and Ann Kaufman. Rick and Ann are both attorneys and provided legal support to The Arc Pikes Peak Region on many levels. Rick and Ann were champions in defending the rights of people with developmental disabilities in the judicial system.
They both were very passionate about assuring that defendants are represented and that their due process is protected. Rick won The Arc PPR’s Joe Schipacasse Do The Right Thing Award in 2009.
