Dan is the author of the screenplay Woodpecker Waltz, which is the story of Joe Arridy based on the book Deadly Innocence by Robert Perske. The story of a man, with development disabilities, who was wrongly accused of a 1936 murder in Pueblo, Co.
Dan is one of the original members of The Friends of Joe Arridy and was instrumental in the eventual posthumous pardon granted to Joe in 2011.
Dan is continuing to work toward the production of the film.
