Our 44th gem is Attorney Jim Colvin (1941-2015). Jim was the longtime Colorado Springs City Attorney.
After retiring from the city, Jim went on to be a part time instructor for UCCS.
Jim’s lack of ego was evident through his quiet, common sense oriented manner.
Jim was also a champion of The Arc PPR who worked tirelessly to ensure that our chapter was represented at the state and national level.
Jim forged an incredible legacy helping The Arc PPR attain autonomy at a time of great transition for the organization.
Time and time again Jim went to bat for The Arc.
